About J.B. Manas

J. B. Manas is an award-winning American author of suspense thrillers, often blending elements of sci-fi, mystery, espionage, and the supernatural. His novels have earned multiple honors from BestThrillers.com, including the Best Sci-Fi Thriller of 2022 for The Mirror Man and a 2025 finalist nod for Dragon Island. The Mirror Man was also a quarterfinalist in the prestigious BookLife Prize, sponsored by Publishers Weekly. His debut novel with Edward Miller, The Kronos Interference, received a starred review in Kirkus Reviews, which named the book to their Best of 2012, calling it “impressively original” and “[a] tour de force.”

Manas is also Editor-in-Chief for Good Alien, an IP development firm, collaborating with legendary artists and creators from the world of comics and multimedia. He is a member of the Authors Guild, International Thriller Writers (ITW), Mystery Writers of America (MWA), and the Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO) and is a popular speaker at comic con events.

In addition to his work in the world of fiction, Manas’s bestselling nonfiction books (written as Jerry Manas) on leadership lessons from history, science, and the arts have been translated into eight languages and course-adopted in universities worldwide.

Manas writes out of his home in Bucks County, PA, where he lives with his wife, daughter, and dog Max, a loveable mutt that looks like a cross between a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and a Corgi, but in fact has the DNA of neither.
